Keep Your Car Organized

  • Whether you’re in a season of your car being your home away from home with kids being shuffled all over the place or you’re enjoying the fruits of your labor in a vehicle all to yourself (all the mamas with week old french fries under their seat smile at the thought!), keeping your car organized with life’s essentials can help you be prepared and ready for anything on the road!

  • Let your middle console house anything that needs to be easily accessible:

    • Kleenex

    • Hand sanitizer

    • Wet wipes

    • Windshield scraper

    • Umbrella

  • Some smaller items will need to be further organized into small bags to keep from getting lost and easier to grab at a stoplight. My recommendation is my favorite Austin Fowler packing tote (link below). Don’t forget to use code HAYLIECURRY for 15% off

    • Extra chargers

    • Lip balms

    • Floss picks

    • Bandaids

    • Feminine hygiene products

    • Gift cards or extra cash

    • Travel size IB Profen, Tums, etc.

  • Especially for mamas on the go, a trunk organizer is essential.

  • These are perfect for easy organization of everyday or road trip items that can be switched out depending on your events of the day. Some of my everyday items are:

    • A blanket

    • Hand towel

    • Couple of trash bags

    • Paper towels

    • Clorox wipes

    • Foldable insulated bag

    • Extra water bottles

    • Small lap trays for kiddos

    • If headed on a trip, this is a great way to store things like an extra set of clothes, beach towels, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.

    • A trunk organizer allows you to empty and shake or wipe clean before the start of every event.

  • I like to keep a bottle of hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes in each door. This way everyone has easy access if they need it or to wash hands before eating on the go!

  • Keeping either a small bag for trash or a portable trash can in the backseat is a great idea if you’ve got kids back there. Whether they use it or not is questionable, BUT at least upon departure they will have a bag to gather all of the garbage to empty that portion of the car out.

  • A basket in between backseats is a must for the kids to be able to reach on their own. Anything that can house books, a DVD case for movies on the go, colored pencils or any other quick, not messy, activities works perfectly.
