Working with Your Contractor or Builder

We will work directly with your contractor or builder to help get a new build or renovation underway and have on many projects with a fantastic outcome. While we don’t actually manage the contractor or the project, we are there to help bring your vision to life and answer any questions and help should a problem arise involving the original design plans. Here is a quick run down of our involvement in the process:

**Project Scope and Goals**: Discuss the overall vision, objectives, and specific requirements of the project.

**Design Plans and Drawings**: Review architectural plans, layouts, and design concepts to ensure alignment on the project.

**Material Selection**: Discuss and decide on materials, finishes, and furnishings to be used in the project, considering aesthetics and practicality.

**Budgeting**: Go over the budget constraints and how to maximize resources while achieving the desired design.

**Communication Protocols**: Set expectations for communication, including regular updates, meetings, and points of contact between the designer and contractor.

**Problem-Solving**: Address any potential challenges or issues that may arise during the construction process and discuss contingency plans.

These discussions help foster a collaborative environment and ensure that both the interior designer and contractor are on the same page throughout the project.
