Under the Kitchen Sink Organizing
Under the kitchen sink is a highly used, utility type space for many families, and it can get pretty messy with bottles, scrubbers, and cleaning supplies tossed about.
Taking a little time to clean up, and give everything a specific place or home can really make your everyday tasks in the kitchen much easier, and gives a lot more function to that small space.
Steps to getting streamlined and organized under the kitchen sink:
Take everything out, and purge what you don’t use or need.
Give the inside of the space a good wipe down with my favorite combo: 1 gallon of hot water, 1 tsp powdered Tide, 1/3 c bleach. (Make sure this cleaning solution is safe for your surfaces.
Lay in a new, clean shelf liner.
Plan out your space, measure, and purchase needed containers and vessels. (What will be going in the space? How big of a space are you working with? Can you use any of the vertical space?) *I like white/bright containers for under sink cabinets to lighten the, often times, dark space.
Add the containers/vessels to the space. Don’t fill them with products yet. Play around with them to figure out how they will best fit in the space.
Fill containers and vessels with products.
Add labels if necessary.
I hope the video below gives you inspiration for your own space!
Happy organizing, y’all!!
